PLANT-BASED
I’ve been vegetarian since 2005; ~70 % plant-based since 2014, while I work out a diet that works for me.
FINANCES
I am currently trying to transition my banking and investments to more ethical and sustainable providers.
TRANSPORT
I try to walk or cycle when I can, taking trains or buses otherwise. I’m occasionally a car passenger.
FASHION
On the rare occasion I buy clothes, ~90% are secondhand, with the exception of underwear and swimwear, which I try to buy from local, ethical & sustainable stores.
REUSABLES
When possible, I shop at zero waste stores, opt for glass/paper packaging, carry a water bottle (metal) & keepcup (plastic), and reusable shopping bags (cotton).
TRAVEL
I have bought carbon offsets for flights I’ve taken in the last 2 years, and will buy offsets for all air travel I have taken. I use less.ca, as recommended by the David Suzuki Foundation.
